Tuition and Textbooks
All tuitions are due in full at the first class meeting unless other arrangements have been made.
Tuition for one eleven week term is $265.00. Text material (Journey to India) and accompanying CDs for audio practice are included with the tuition and available on this website.
In addition to the text included with tuition there is one required text for Beginning Hindi - Introduction to Hindi Grammar by Usha R. Jain, University of California at Berkeley. The current cost of the text with accompanying audio CD is $55.00. It will be used throughout the first year and well into the second year course.
For Intermediate Hindi there is another required text - Advanced Hindi Grammar by Usha R. Jain, University of California at Berkeley. This one also includes an audio CD. The current cost is $55.00. It will be used during the second year course together with the Introduction to Hindi Grammar referred to in the preceding paragraph.
